Tecumseh is a part of the Pottawatomie County region/metro area of Oklahoma. Major attractions include Double J Ranch and Carmike Cinemas. Each year in the summer season there is the Fisher Body's annual Picnic. Among the biggest companies in Tecumseh are Tecumseh Family Medical Center and Purple Martin Supply. The biggest schools here are Tecumseh Middle School and Tecumseh Independent School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Tecumseh is the Childrens Museum.
