Just moved into town and tried it out.....Loved the food. The best place in Poteau to get pizza, so we were really bummed when we recieved horrible and rude service this last time. We odered a family size "plain chese pizza" for pick up, went to pick it up and they said it was $20, and I said no, it's usually only $14. They came back and said, well they thought you meant a speciality 4 cheese pizza so thats why it is $20. Instead of giving me the screw up of the speciality pizza for the $14 price, they were going to make us wait for them to bake a new cheese pizza! They didn't even offer us the pizza already cooked! Everytime we have gone there before that the food has been great but the service is either slow, or they don't know the menu! I waitressed for many years and if you screw up the order, you at leaste offer the order you placed in but at the reduced price.....where has good customer service gone these days?! ...read more

We have eaten at the Arena numerous times and the food and service has been fine. Tonight we decided instead of driving to Ft. Smith to dine there. We ordered an appetizer and waited and waited. Food came out and no appetizer first and my husband order potato and corn on the cobb for sides. No corn on the cobb and the waitress said they were out. The bake potatoes were hard as a rock [under cooked] and the steakes tasted like it was basted in A1 sauce and chewy with alot of grizzel. The steak was below average for a steakhouse. Service was just below terrible, despite it being a slow night. There were only four other tables occupied while I was there, and still they could not manage. Unless you are already aware of its location it will be difficult to find, there are no signs outside of any kind. I called them beforehand and whatever staff member answered the phone was rude and in such a panicked hurry that they couldn't hear what I was saying. This was surprising because once at the steakhouse the waitress was almost nonexistent, definitely not in a rush to serve. When the food arrived, which took about 45 minutes, we were informed that a few of the side dishes were not available.
