I threw down the gauntlet when I emailed Jake that my Grandfather was a BBQ chef. Jake accepted and said come on out. I gathered up my posse, we are all foodies with discriminating pallettes, and we love BBQ. All I can say is we were WOWed. This is the best BBQ I have had in years. Everyone was delighted. The meat has a fine smokey flavor and the sauce is not too sweet. And if you haven't eaten Pig Wings then you will be in for a treat. Tender morsels. We cant wait to go back. I have a few other BBQ aficienodos to introduce to Jakes Place. Jakes is in the heart of downtown Bixby, awa from the hustle and bustle. We recently used Jake's Place to feed 15 people at our facility and all the food was outstanding. The smoked hams were completely eaten. Eveyone still talks about the baked beans and the potatoes. We will definitely use them again. ...read more
