Rented in October and since then have been hounded for payments, this is only the beginning of Feb and I already paid 6 times...they even called my house for payments! For the first month there was a broken gate, giving anyone access to the property, then they insisted you needed to buy a lock from them, and of course you need to purchase their insurance. Every time I go by their office, regardless of what time, it is closed, with a sign stating :"Will be back". In December, I went by my unit to put more things in and low and behold, roaches greeted me upon opening my storage unit. I threw the stuff in there, ran and cannot bring myself to go back there to get my things. Been trying to contact them since, each time there is a different employee claiming to be the manager, was told that the area manager would contact me, have been waiting for 2 month for his call now!!! Very unprofessional behavior from any company, it is more than obvious they care more about money but less about helping or keeping the property roach free :( Am NOT impressed ...read more

They installed a brand new water heater. Make sure all pipes run into the drain. The pressure valve went off and the entire seventeen thousand dollars worth of new flooring had to be replaced. They did not stand behind their product nor did their insurance company. Unethical behavior. ...read more

Mayberry's was the best choice for the services they offer. During my free estimate I learned they are a drug free workplace and do background checks on all employees. We moved locally and also sent items to our kids in California and Florida. The entire moving process was excellent and all items arrived without damage. I started storing with this facility in January 2011. It had just received a new owner and management team. I have used other facilities in the past but have never been treated as well as I was here. I vacated my unit this past December 2011. During my stay, the property did undergo major changes. These changes included property being fenced, electronic gate, landscaping, up-to-date modern office and the on-site management team. The managers are always very professional, courteous and treat you like family. They are willing to work with you when things get tight! I would highly recommend this facility before any other. They have the lowest prices in Dayton and will beat all competitors pricing! They did for me! If I ever need storage again, I will only store at Armor Self Storage with Lee and Carrie. I've had a unit at this facility since 2008 and it's cost has increased an average of $10 a year. I am paying nearly $200 a month and I think this is really high for a space with no utilities. My "services" there as such have not increased (security cameras and a counter person), and the letters I receive telling me of the increases always describe them as "minimal".
