Our team play late summer term softball at Riverstar (July-Oct). When we signed up we were asked for a deposit of $200 which would be returned to us if we did not forfeit any games. Well, we didn't forfeit, but we still haven't received our money back (today is 12/16/09). I called and left messages in November, with no return call. And I tried to call yesterday only to find their phone is no longer in service. Their website is no longer active either. I also intend to send a certified letter to the office as well as stop by in person to try to get my $200 back. I guess they may not be there, but what else can I do? After waiting and waiting for a refund for the fall session of softball, the answering machine message on the week of 11/16 stated that deposit refunds would be mailed out to team coaches at the address they provided the week of 11/9. As of today, we have not received the refund and our credit card was charged $200 at the beginning of the session. Have tried to call several times and today when I tried to call again, the phone has been disconnected, so has the fax number. The weather line still works, but you cant leave a message here. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau and sending a certified letter to the office as well. I may even call John Matarese from channel 9 about this business.
