The Peppermill Family Restaurant

I absolutely LOVE the steak, mushroom -n- cheese wrap! I have NEVER had a bad experience at the Peppermill. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The food is always good. If you go into a "FULL" restaurant you have to expect some delay, and a parking lot is never wrong about the quality. Our The menu clearly displays the prices therefore people can choose what they want and can afford. FIVE PLUS stars! ...read more

Not even worthy of one star. It always seems crowded in there so, we thought...this must be a great place. NO. I think it's mostly just older folks coming in and lingering. The portions are large but, that doesn't matter if the food doesn't taste good. My Chicken Cattiatore was tasteless and the pasta was long over cooked/bloated/starchy. I've read the other comments...something about going to McD's ~ we said the same thing! And what is up with...waiting for the lady at the counter - she IS the only one who will seat you and process your bill. Why doesn't she delegate some responsibility to another. She is rude...took my card then without an "excuse me" she took a phone call from someone placing an order. She won't let anyone in her little hostess/check-out box...What an Ego! ...read more

2 people - each ordered a tuna sandwich, cole slaw, cup of soup, tea. Bill, with 20 percent tip, came to just under $30. Food was ok, expensive. Service incompetent, slow. When checking out, I had to wait at the front desk to pay, while 4 employees passed me without acknowledgement. After flagging down an employee, a female worker came out of the kitchen. When told that we had an apppointment & that I had been waiting, she gave me a lecture with no acknowledgement of the extended wait time. I told her to just process the check & stop the lecture. She told me not to speak to her in "that tone of voice". I replied that was the tone of voice I would be using. She slamed the credit card down & brought the owner out. The owner denied that I had to wait for payment processing. When I told her that we had to wait too long for our meal to come to the table, she said that was NOT true. I replied "it seems the customer is always wrong." She said, "no, just in this case." Terrible! ...read more
