We were a party of 8 and we loved every minute of our evening at frankie and johnnies in rye... From the larger than average size martinis to the selection of cabernets on the wine list to the steaks and side dishes... For starters we asked the waiter to make us a cold seafood platter... Kumammoto oysters were fresh and chilled, as were the clams and the crabmeat... we all ordered salads which were good and then we all ordered steaks... some tbone others filet and sirloin and one couple had the porterhouse we ALL agreed these were the BEST STEAKS EVER!!!!! Perfectly cooked and tender... Side dishes were among the largest we've had at any other steakhouse around... Thank you to the manager at a local retailer for suggesting this restaurant we LOVE IT!!! Six of us went for a special dinner on a Thursday night. We had a beautiful table and the atmosphere of candles and mahogany made us feel like we were in a gorgeous home dining room. \t\n\t\nThe Food! Every selection was outstanding. The Porterhouse for two, Dover Sole and Filet Mignon on the Bone...all cooked perfectly and just delicious. We had wonderful wine....there was a huge selection. \t\n\t\nThe Service...Top notch, experienced waiters who helped us with our choices and advised us when we almost over ordered side dishes. \t\n\t\nThe restaurant was decorated for the Holidays....charming not overdone.
