I took the teen class for 1 year and i had mixed feelings about it. I was taught basic steps of salsa and turns. but the 1st dance we learned, because we there were only girls, in my opinion was a jazz dance. We performed this at salsa weekend. We used a slightly different version of the dance to perform at the puerto rican festival. Also, frequently the instuctor would make us wait 15 before begining the class while he had a conversation.
