Fayetteville is a village located on Limestone Creek in Onondaga County, New York. It was once known for its sash blind and door factory, lime and plaster mills, carriage factories and sawmills. A Major attraction is Green Lakes State Park, which features two glacial lakes and where visitors can play golf and snowshoe or cross-country ski on trails during winter. One of the best places to visit when you are in Fayetteville is the McLennan Wildlife Sanctuary. A well-known resident has included President Grover Cleveland.
