About Espanola, NM
Espanola is a part of the Rio Arriba and Santa Fe Counties region of New Mexico known as the Lowrider Capital of the World. Major attractions include the Bandelier National Monument and the Richard R. Lucero Center. Each year in the summer season there is the Annual Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Arts and Craftsmen Show. Among the biggest companies in Espanola are Los Alamos National Laboratories and Wal-Mart Corporation. The biggest schools here are James H. Rodriguez Elementary School, Northern New Mexico College, and Espanola Valley High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Espanola is the Penny Roybal Garcia Aquatic Center.
