I would like to give them ZERO stars but at least one is required on this site. 24 Carrot Catering is unequivocally the worst food and customer service I have ever encountered. The slateboard outside the restaurant advertised "1/2 Priced Entrees 3 to 6". As it was only 5:15PM, we ordered 2 entrees. When we got the bill, it wasn't 1/2 priced. When we asked why, we were told that "daily specials" entrees weren't included. We mentioned that no one told us that before we ordered, and it wasn't listed as such either on the slateboard, menu, or "daily specials" sheet... and we asked to speak to the manager. A creep who identified himself as the owner/manager came over and he was so rude, obnoxious, nasty, abusive, and unprofessional, we were left speechless. Needless to say, we will NEVER return, even though we've been going there for years from when it was located in the shopping center prior to moving to the Main St. location. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Somerville, where customers are treated as customers... try one of those unless you like being abused,. ...read more

We have only been here once, and for breakfast, so we can only review/judge based on that, but we really liked this diner. We went there for the breakfast on the week of 5/20/12. It's a typical NJ diner with average food, but definitely on the better side of average. We had typical breakfast fare of eggs, (scrambled and over-medium), bacon, french toast, home fries, sausage links, and toast. The prices were low - 3.95 - 5.95 for most breakfast combos and the food was PLENTIFUL. It reminded us of diners as they were in the late 80's and early 90's.
