Costco

1.0

By jertodd at Citysearch

If only having one credit card available for member purchases were its only problem, this place would be great. The rising prices on goods and the extremely limited selection are Costco's real problem. It's Kirkand city at a premium. Kirkland(the store brand) is blame bad and its everywhere. The other brands are priced in a way so they can't compete with Costco's proprietary cash cow. Then you add a customer service that actually thinks their doing you a favor when they do their jobs, and you have the typical Costco shopping experience. I am thankful I canceled my-ever increasing-membership with this money pit. ...read more

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Costco in Nashua, NH. except that they only accept American Express! That totally blew my mind, I mean most stores accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. It only makes sense to accept all four because they will have a lot more customers. ...read more

Have an Avon book or online Party

Avon Blog Have a book / online Party today!Avon Book Parties = FREE ProductsAvon Online Parties = FREE Products Book parties can simplify your life and still earn you the products you'd love to buy, but would rather get for free! How do you getFREE AVONproducts as a hostess? My AVON Book Party Hostesses don't have to do much to get FREE products for the tax-free orders they gather. There's only three requirements:1) You must have at least one order besides your own personal order, 2) All orders combined (including yours) must be at least $100, and3) You must be able offer me the contact information (address, phone number, and email, if they are online) for each person ordering. What do I, as your Representative, supply to you for your Book Party?1) FREE brochures and order forms, 2) FREE shipping (includes your personal order),3) FREE samples. What's in it for YOU?Providing you meet these requirements, you are eligible for a generous hostess credit program. You'll also gain free product credit according to the following schedule: $100-$250 = 20% credit$251-$400 = 25% credit$400+ = 30% creditReceive 1 item @ 30% off for every $150 in sales! Now remember, these amounts can include your own order, so you will benefit from ordering more for yourself OR taking more orders from others. Here's an example...Let's say you distribute books to four friends and each places a $25 order when they see the cute things you've compiled in your own $50 order (this happens all the time!). You've just gathered $150 in orders. You would receive $20. in credit and would then thumb through the brochure and select $20. in products to which we would apply the $20.in hostess credit. In essence, you gave yourself a hefty discount on your own order because you receive $70 worth of merchandise for $50. See how this can really add up?What do you need to do? You show the brochures or distribute them along with the order forms I supply to those who are interested in placing an order. You collect the orders or order forms before the order cutoff date I give you and then email the orders to me. I will reply with a confirmation and totals for each person as well as your hostess credit. You then decide which additional products you would like to purchase with your credit. Then we make payment arrangements. Now, normally you issue payment to an Avon lady(me) when your order is delivered, but since we're doing this through the mail (in most cases), I will need to have full payment before I ship the orders to you. Therefore, hostesses need to collect funds at the same time the orders are placed - preferably in cash. You will need to be capable of issuing one check or money order to meOnce the orders are processed,I bag them as I would if I were delivering them to my own customers, complete with new brochure, a free gift, and samples. Then I ship them off to you for distribution (just as you would with a home party). You can deliver them at work (to co-workers), have friends pick them up, or deliver to each person - it's your choice! I have hostesses that hold book parties year round and others that do it on a seasonal basis. You can do it to fulfill your personal wish list, or do it to cut down on the cost of gift-giving. I have also had people hold book parties for a birthday registry as well. Whatever your need, I can help you make the most of our products to earn the products you want. I welcome you to give it a try. Most hostesses that try it once continue to hold book parties time after time.Tracy Raymond ~ Avon Independent Sales Rep.Recruiter/Mentor  1.603.880.6288 Home/Office1.603.966.5503   Cellwww.youravon.com/tracyraymondPlease take a peek at my webstore! ...read more
