like a second home
âNew York Karate Academy is more than a karate school to me. Here, we are a family of students with a wide range of ages. I started training at the beginning of 6th grade. School that really cares
I enrolled my daughter in the New York Karate Academy 2 years ago for 1 simple reason. I witnessed how happy and excited my daughter was following her first meeting with Master Adam DiStefano. She had attended a birthday party and immediately following, we enrolled in M...aster DiStefano's Academy. Adam DiStefano, is in my eyes, an amazing teacher and friend to all of his students. He has taught my daughter, who is eight years old, how to work hard for whatever she wants in life and to enjoy the process of reaching those desires. He leads by example, showing how to achieve greatness. I have witnessed my shy and quiet daughter transform into a strong, young lady who six months ago, sang a song at her school talent show in front of 250 people without hesitation or flaw. I can only give credit to one person, Master Adam DiStefano, since it was he who took my daughter aside and convince her that she can do anything she wants and to be sure of herself while doing it.

Unlike many of the other schools in the area, Master Adam DiStefano utilizes a positive attitude when he instructs that not only creates the ideal learning environment, but also instills the values of his system in everyone of his student.
