Has anyone noticed a difference between brands of paint?
"Paint color is completely a function of light. If natural light is from a northern exposure it will look darker, from a southern exposure the paint color will look lighter. If you have a lot of painting to do, I suggest for your health you use No VOC paint. I like FreshAire and Mythic"
"I can;t help on the maker but suggest the following. Get samples from the paint store in pinks that are close to the color you want. Find the closest darker color and put some in a paper cup and add white a little at a time to try to match. If you get a good match, take that to the paint store and have them create the paint. Also, just in case, did your mom have a pillow or bedspread or other knick knack that matches, if so that is a good start point for the paint store to match. Another idea, if by chance it is painted on an interior wall, say in her closet, cut out a piece of the drywall and take that to the paint store."
