"I tried it several times and realized that re-filled cartridges DO NOT WORK as well as new. The price difference is usually a couple dollars, but after several tries I decided it's not worth it. I have 5 printers at the office and tried re-filled cartridges on all of them - 2 were okay-ish (with some problems anyway), 3 didn't work. So, the math is simple - new cartridges for me!"
Are recycled supplies cheaper today?
"Depends on a retailer, I guess. We sell recycled shipping boxes of any size at $1 a piece - you can't get it cheaper anywhere. On the other hand, the big retailers like Office Depot and alike sell the recycled products at much higher price, not much lower than the regular price. Being a recycle junkie - I recycle EVERYTHING - I think we need to think more about the environment and what we do to it. There is so much good, usable stuff goes to the landfills! Got a package with styrofoam peanuts - DON'T THROW IT AWAY, bring it to us! We can use it over and over to protect your fragile packages!"
