The best thing about Placerville is It is located between Gorgeous Lake Tahoe and camping and outdoor activities, and Sacramento, a great place to go SHOPPING, Go to the State Fair, and Water parks! When I went to get my hair colored at Waterfall awhile back, I really enjoyed the ambiance there...to me very earthy and fresh. The staff were all very friendly as well!
