Tucker Ford

Took advantage of an elderly couple

Our elderly parents are in their 80s. They were taken advantage of by Tucker Ford in Brunswick. They were pressured into buying a new vehicle that day they went in. They were there just to look and see what deal they could get. They were given HALF the price of what their trade-in was worth, per Kelly Blue Book. They paid CASH for their new vehicle and paid hundreds of dollars OVER sticker price. They came back three days later after putting a deposit down, and they wanted their car back and to cancel the deal. They were told they had sold their car already and can’t back out of the deal. I have found on Carfax that they actually did still have the vehicle at the time. They paid the balance and left, in cash via money order, thinking there was nothing they could do. The salesman’s name is Ethan Duval. I contacted Tucker, and explained what happened to the manager, Bobby. He basically said they will do nothing to make it right with them. Also important to note is our mother has a cochlear implant and cannot hear very well at all. Our father has been deemed by the Doctor as no longer able to make financial decisions etc. due to dementia. They were clearly taken advantage of, And because Tucker Ford refuses to do anything to make this right, I am trying all avenues so that they can get help to make Tucker refund them the amount they “stole” from them.
