I had 5 locks that needed to be rekeyed at my new place and decided to get quotes from a bunch of locksmiths before finalizing on one. I called Logan Locksmith Shop finding their charges the lowest. Also, they were available for same day service. Andrew quickly and professionally rekeyed all the locks. He also spotted a problem with a cabinet lock and fixed it free of cost!!!! Solid work and reasonably priced! I wanted Father Son Locksmith Store to get a rekey job done. The technician I’d called earlier said it couldn’t be done and tried to upsell me on other products, but I didn’t buy it. Johnson from Father Son Locksmith Store, however, felt my locks were perfectly fine and with a rekeying done they could last a few more years. So, I needed a new lock. After enquiring in several stores, I finally struck a good bargain down at a hardware shop. But what came after was something I didn’t anticipate! I’ve attempted lock installations on my windows a couple of times, and was confident I could nail this one too. An hour later, as I looked down at the now-completely-ruined-lock, it was clear that I shouldn’t have been this over-confident at my abilities. I decided to call a locksmith from Lock Safe Services to take a look at the damage I’d done on the lock and the door. Turns out, it wasn’t entirely my fault. Got a couple of key copies made at a hardware store at a cheap price. None of the keys worked and one got stuck in the keyhole of the front door. Contacted All County Locksmith Store and spoke to Eric who offered me a quote. This happened around 10 pm and All County Locksmith Store was the only firm that had agreed to my service request. Eric arrived quickly and had the troublesome key removed. Since I was now left without any spare keys, Eric was kind enough to make new copies on-the-spot. It took him less than thirty minutes and the keys worked flawlessly.

All Day Locksmith Service was great - they arrived in 15 mins and had my door open in another 10. I was quoted $99 on the phone and charged $99, which was perfectly fine by me. Based on Company glowing reviews, I decided to call Community Locksmith Store after an unfortunate incident with my foot and a doorknob (you read that correctly -- it's a long story).
Erick is the third locksmith I've dealt with here in Towson, MD --- and easily the coolest. His price estimates are far lower than the others I've seen.
So what's the catch? There wasn't. He was in and out in within 20 minutes. And in the end, he reassured me that the whole-foot-on-the-doorknob thing is more common than one would think.
