I've been to enough tanning salons over the years of moving all over the country. In Winston-Salem there is an Island Tans and when I moved to Mooresville I was excited to see an Island Tans. I thought they were owned by the same people. Those people were personable (I came back to the area 3 years later and they remembered me without the computer!) and their prices were fair ($4 for a base bed before 2 p.m. and half off on the weekends), the packages actually WERE a deal and their beds were well maintained and effective.
I was disappointed that it turns out this Island Tans was not in any way related, but I can honestly say the exact same about this one. Their prices are great, they don't trap you into contracts (I'm looking at you Palm Beach Tans) just so you don't do individual sessions by charging you $22 or more for ONE SESSION. They're friendly and relaxed and conveniently close to me.
