well, I have to tell you, the homestead in is a throwback to the great restaurants in Trenton, nj from the fifties and sixties. the meal we had was great-great crab cakes and salads. good atmosphere and good service. will go again. suggestion-get yourselves a website. some of the sites with restaurant reviews are confusing you with the restaurant in Connecticut. otherwise, don't change-old school is coming back!

We went here because my husband grew up near by. It seemed a little tired from the outside but we were both pleasantly surprised by the great food. We eat out a lot and this ranks among the best. Food was nicely prepared and plated and in a timely manner. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. I don't think enough people know about this place or simply assume that it closed years ago like a lot of the local places. Hang in there-pleasant meal and sinful desserts.
