2001 buick regal leaking oil, how do I know if its the valve covers, oil pan, gasket, or seal
"You have to visual inspect for signs of oil. easiest is to check the top first, for sign of oil either ffrom the valve covers or intake. if no signs of oil is present then you can safely lift the vehicle or preferably take to a shop where the vehicle can be place on a lift to see if the oil is coming from the oil pan or rear main sea. Safety first, don't get under the vehicle unless you have a set of support other than the jack."
