Decent Store, Terrible Customer Service and Bad Attitudes

We have been shopping at this store since moving to Cape Girardeau in 2010. My wife being a paid, professional seamstress means we have to buy supplies often. We've tried to have our sewing machines serviced here several times and have had bad experiences every time. The owner is an older lady in her 60s and she has a terrible attitude. She answers the phone rudely and feels like she isn't obligated to answer your legitimate questions. Took almost 4 weeks to get our sewing machine back when 2 weeks was promised. Assistant clerks are alternately rude or young and inexperienced. Prices are way higher than they should be on basic items like thread. Classic case of a business being the only game in town and they know they have a monopoly so they can treat you like garbage and charge you whatever they want. We'll be taking our machine to St. Louis from now on. What a rotten little store.
