Nathaniel's Hope is a 501 (c)(3) organization that serves special needs children and their families. We are best known for our BuddyBreak (free child parents day out for VIPs & their siblings), Caroling for Kids (holiday caroling to hospital & home bound "VIP kids"), Nathaniel's Toy Workshop (Christmas toys for low income VIP kids in Orlando Florida) & Make 'm Smile (1st Saturday in June, festival/special needs resource fair at Lake Eola in Orlando) programs. We now have more than 55 trained Buddy Break (free respite care) locations in 11 states. BuddyBreak is such a blessing to our VIP families to get this much needed break from caregiving. Right now we are recruiting help for our free toy store for low income kids with special needs: Caroling for Kids: We share hope and encouragement with patients, families, and caregivers at children’s hospitals and with homebound VIP families on Christmas day through caroling, and bearing gifts. 130 Walgreens stores across Central Florida serve as collection points for toy donations. Thru the support of Walgreens and many other corporate and individual supporters and volunteers we were able to get toys into the hands of over 2800 special needs children and their siblings last year. All services are offered to our "VIP families" for free by the kindness of generous donors and sponsors. Donations are always appreciated. TCCI division is a mission sending organization with permanent missionary bases in Guatemala and El Salvador (same 501c3 different division). TCCI is responsible for the GO Prepared short-term missions training curriculum. This comprehensive and practical video/DVD series is easy to understand, enjoyable, and accurately prepares teams for their work in the mission field.
