Since moving to the strip mall at the Northeast corner of 70th&Pioneers 5 Years ago (Wow! Yes, it's been that long) we still get calls many times a week asking where we are located.  Making a move can be very complicated in terms of making sure all of our customers know where we have relocated.  It takes years of advertising, word of mouth, and just plain luck.  We would like to thank all of you that arrived that very first day we opened at the new location and all of our loyal followers.  Without you there would not be a Habitat! As Lincoln's premier gift, gourmet, and home decor store since 1975 we strive to bring you the newest and most unique products available.  While they must be well designed and pleasing to the eye, they must also be functional.  Only after they pass that criteria do they arrive at Habitat. Habitat also has a large selection of gourmet foods from a variety of vendors.  Many of these foods will help you make a gourmet dinner with little or no effort!  The rest can be snack or party foods with the opening of jars.  At Christmas time we carry an even wider selection of candies, cookies, "hors d' oeuvres", fancy mixes, decorating sugars, dried cherries in chocolate(very good!)from Oregon, and much, much, more. Little by little we will get up to speed on Christmas decor and decorations.  The hard part is finding room for everything, as you can well imagine.  Everyone expects us to have all of our regular merchandise as well as Christmas, too.  It's a bit of of juggling act.
