Hook Tire and Service has incredible customer service, prices are great and they do a terrific job. I have been to many different auto service shops, this is the first time I have felt the shop I was using had the total package of great prices, terrific customer service and they do what needs to be done well, without trying to get you for anything extra. Avoid at all costs!!!!\t\n Brought car in for NC State Inspection. As a mechanic myself I knew there was nothing wrong with this vehicle, just needed an inspection. My wife brought the car in and they called and said we needed over $700.00 in repairs so they failed the car. I checked out the area they said was in need of repair and it was fine, No problem at all. So my wife then took her vehicle to a reputable place in Waxhaw and it passed, no issues at all!!! Once again I have had bad luck getting my car fixed. I was givien a price to have my brakes done. I was told it would cost 89.00 to have front brakes fixed. When I came back to get my car it was 867.56 for all the brakes . I had to pay to get my car back and I still have a brake problem. They knew I was a single female and they got me good.
