Don't Go... I went for a perm. I have naturally wavy hair and wanted some more curl. I got overcharged fora perm by an apparent novice stylist. My hair came out curly underneath with straight pieces all over the top. I contacted the salon, spoke to the manager only to be told that they could do a spot perm in two weeks. I lived with it for two days feeling awful about my hair and then found a salon open on Sunday to get my hair cut. I had beautiful shoulder-length hair that had to be chopped into short layers to blend the hair that was straight with what was curly. I also have found spots of spiky shards where apparently my hair was broken off. I had an awful experience and was given no solution. After $150 spent on my hair I wish I had never gone. I went to les gens beaux after one of my good friend referred me. She told me to see a stylist named lori and I have to say that was one of the best cut and colors of my life. I'd been hearing a lot of stuff about this salon, so I decided to go check them out. I called to make an appointment and was put on hold for approximately 3 minutes to even see if anyone could take me in. When I arrived for my hair cut, they seemed to be nice but then all I got to experience was the two ladies bad mouthing one of their other customers. I found this very offensive, wondering what they would say about me once I left. I have fine hair that wants to part the way it wants to part and misbehaves. Julie is the first person that ever cut my hair the way I wanted it cut and my hair does exactly the way it should. I had 12+ inches of hair cut off at Visage. Julie did a great job giving me a stylish cut that gave me more of a professional image. The cut fits my active lifestyle and is super easy to style - but looks fine when I don't even blowdry it. I was planning on donating the hair to Locks of Love but she already had an envelope started and mailed it for me!
