Classy, yet hip. Intellectual, yet fun. The place has the makings for a destination spot if word could just get out about what the place has to offer. I admit I haven't had any of the food as of yet, although I've heard remarks that would average about 80% success rate. But, what I have enjoyed is the bar...in particular, the live music a (soon to be karaoke, I hear - so excited) and $1 Margaritas on Thursdays - drinks were strong and the bartenders (I've experienced two) were remarkably attentive and each had a unique flair of service that makes me want to return for more - each time I was there with a friend or few. "The game" was on the second time I went and the flat screen on the wall was, therefore, just right. I would suggest adding a couple more flat screens and really giving the bar it's own two feet (marketing it as such) and making it basically a second destination spot at the same location. The Four Seasons of Rocky Mount simply lends itself very well to a great evening with friends or colleagues. I look forward to enjoying the food on future visits. If one has only enjoyed down home southern cooking the more elevated palatte of this restaurant's menu may require an acquired taste, but if you've traveled and or simply have been open to various types of foods throughout your life then the flavorful and healthy and good cuts of meat the place offers should satisfy and/or enlighten. ...read more
