we did not know where we were going to find a set of mugs for my sisters this year, we live pretty far from Seagrove and from other big cities, so i started looking online and found this place. I was a little hesitant about going someplace where you had to call first, but i found out that since the shop is literally in the backyard, the lady that owns it and is also the potter just wants to make sure she is home so no one makes a trip and then find out nobody is there. She took us to her studio, and while it is small, i thought uh oh, nothing going to be here, when she opened the door, i almost didn't believe all of the things that are in there. She has a work area which she should us a little of what she does, and then there is her selling space. It is full of mugs, and bowls, yarn bowls, lamps, (I bought one of those), plates, vases, you name it she has one. I also found out that she has a special for Custom Pottery and since I bought something there I got 20% off of a order I placed for her to make a set of wine glasses for my parents...She is very good, nice and friendly and best of all they take credit cards....I will definitely be spreading the word about her work to my friends at my work, since Christmas isn't that far away...You won't be dissapointed if you go to little Landis for a great selection of all handmade pottery.. ...read more
