Granite Falls is a part of the Caldwell County of North Carolina. It is known for its Blowing Rock Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain and Hiddenite’s Gem Mines. Major attractions include Granite Falls History & Transportation Museum and the Lakeside Park. It hosts the annual Festival on Main, organized by the Granite Falls Merchants Association with vendors selling jewelry, pottery, homemade guitars, pocketbooks, crafts, jams, jellies, baskets, quilts, etc..
