NextCare Urgent Care

I took my five tear old son there because it was the only place open at 8pm and he had a fever for four days. The staff was nice. the wait was not long, the nurse came in and took vitals, examined his nose ears and mouth. the nurse got blood, urine, and culture from his throat.the doctor comes in twenty minutes later and says all of the test came back negative and that it's (PROBABLY) a stomach virus and just continue to give him Tylenol and Motrin and the virus has to run it's course and then fever will go away.I did just that for two more days but the fever continued. Next day I took my son to his Pediatrician and she discovered that he had an ear infection and a throat infection but know stomach virus like the Nextcare doctor had said. His doctor gave him an antibiotic and now no more fever and the infections are gone. When you or a love is sick there is no room for this kind of error, so don't take chance at this place. ...read more

I have never seen such dedication and compassion among providers as I have seen with Dr. Araghi and Sayeh Araghi! They both go above and beyond the call of duty to give their patients the best care ever. Most health providers I talk to go to them for their own personal healthcare. The staff is so nice and the whole atmosphere is so family-oriented. ...read more
NextCare Urgent Care

I moved to Fayetteville April 2010. Watched local tv re: local information. Councilwoman made statement "Fayetteville has an unemployable work force". I thought, wow that's quite a statement from a responsible local professional. I was to accompany cardiac patient 2 days later to Cape Fear Medical Center where he received EXCELLENT CARE in a timely manner--and the large waiting area was packed. THEY WERE BUSY. THEY GAVE GREAT CARE. THEY PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARDS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM MEDICAL/NURSING PROFESSIONALS. Nextcare Urgent Care, Glenford Drive, Fayetteville made a poor impression in almost every way. The office staff was unprofessional. I have never had anyone take my driver's license, and insurance cards and not immeditately make copies and return them.I had time to complete my computer entry of my medical history. I asked for them back. "Oh, I have to scan them in yet. Was she busy? No. She was visiting with the office manager. Visiting does not mean they were discussing office business. It means they were socially visiting. Finally, I stood at the counter and said I would wait there for my personal cards. Of course that was less than a minutes work for her to pass my cards thru a scanner located in front of her on her desk and hand them to me. It seemed to offend both the receptionist and the office manager. I waited a total of 2 hours to see a physician for a very routine matter. I observed 3 patients exit after seeing the physician while I was waiting. One gentleman was quite verbal about his long wait to see the physician. Seems the waiting room was empty when he arrived also. He was given his perscriptions and "plan" quickly so he could leave. At the end of my visit, I was given another patients perscription and would have left with it, if I hadn't caught the mistake myself. Perhaps I have found the umemployable workforce in Fayetteville. ...read more
