National Gown Cleaners & Archival Products

I was recommended to National Gown from two friends who used them. I called and also emailed them and received a call back the same day with an email from Christine within a few hours. I met with Jennifer who gave me the cost estimate and went over the service with me. I have an expensive Rivini gown and was expecting to pay $500.00 to $700.00 to clean according to the prices I was given by Penniou Cleaners and Crystal Cleaning Center. Jennifer explained everything in great detail and gave me a price of $425.00 and told me it could take 6 to 8 months to finish. I went in for my inspection to see my clean gown and it was in perfect condition. I was told that I would be called for pick up within a week and that happened. National Gown is not your neighborhood cleaners. They’re very specialized and you should expect to pay for the best. If your priorities are a fast turn around or a cheap price then this isn't the place for you.

A co worker recommended National Gown Cleaners after using them for her 3 daughters wedding gowns. I called and made an appointment and met with Jennifer. She looked over my gown in great detail and then gave me a cost of $235.00. I was shocked at the cost since I was given estimates from 3 other cleaners in San Francisco ranging from $400.00 up to $700.00. I was pleased with the price range and I was getting real museum quality services to boot. I then had a chance to inspect my gown after they finished the cleaning and it was perfect! About a week later I picked the gown up. Jennifer removed the lid and I got a chance to see my gown one more time before I left the office. I appreciate the quality service and reasonable pricing. They tell you to email instead of calling since they don't take phone calls when helping customers in the office. I understand that since I heard the phone ringing several times each time I was there. They are very fast at email response.

In January I brought my gown in to clean at National Gown. They looked over my gown in great detail and pointed out stains and damages that I didn't see even after I checked the gown over well. That Christine has a great eye! She took photos and emailed them to me while I was there in the office. She also took fabric swatches from my gown so that I could compare each sample after cleaning. After 6 months I picked up my gown. I was again impressed with how thorough National Gown Cleaners was in explaining their services, cost, time lines, and terms with such great detail. There was no question that they stand behind their work and quality. I would refer National Gown Cleaners to anyone without a single bit of hesitation.
