Why I LOVE SELLING AVON:
I love AVON for so many reasons:
I grew up with Avon....my grandma used it, my mom used it, and I’ve used it. I used to play with all of my mom’s empty Avon bottles. One of my favorites was a silver little fawn. You reme...mber those, right? Glass perfume or cologne bottles shaped like a deer, little girls, trains, ducks, etc. The other favorite is a light blue powder container that had a couple white doves on the cover. You can occasionally find them at thrift stores and vintage booths at the flea market.
Avon is a familiar name for most people and has been around since 1886 when David H. McConnell started recruiting women to sell beauty products door-to-door. He realized their potential in an era where that was a foreign concept. For more than 125 years Avon has been empowering women and raising money for women's causes...like breast cancer research, and domestic violence. They are now a global market, with Independent Sales Representatives in over 100 countries.
Aside from the fact that I think, as a company, they have a lot of integrity and give back to the community, Avon products are award-winning from a world-class Research and Development team. Avon is a brand that I trust and I sell it for that reason.
I love selling Avon because I like seeing other people feel good about themselves as well as their purchase. It's always fun receiving a new catalog. One, I'm an avid Avon customer, and two, it reminds me of both my mom, and my grandma.
