Monogram Plus

Hello Everyone!

Monogram Plus has been happily embroidering in the Ridgecrest area since 1988!  We are the oldest embroidery business in Ridgecrest, and have served in many other areas as well.  Customers have been as far away as Kwait, England, and 7 other states!

The business started in my home in 1988 when my children were little.  As they grew up, I moved the business onto Ridgecrest Blvd.  Word of mouth is the main advertising I do, and remain very busy throughout the year.

I am also the tailor for China Lake's Navy Exchange Uniform Center, and have seen many young Sailors and Marines advance through rank.  Some still have me do their uniforms after they have been stationed elsewhere.  I am so proud of our service men and women and feel priviliged to be able to help them.

Monogram Plus is me, Joyce Cass.  I was born in San Bernardino and in 1966 our family moved to Inyokern, where we lived until I started High School.  My father was a custodian for Sierra Sands at what was then Ridgecrest Heights Elementary School, and later it was named Faller Elementary.  We even lived on the school grounds then!  My mother was general manager for the Neighborhood Market.  So, between both Mom and Dad, I learned how business is ran, and how to keep it clean!  O.K, so it isn't as clean as it should be, I'd rather be embroidering!

This August was my 19th year!  Wow, time sure went fast, so I must be having fun!

I wish the best to all our valley's firemen!  It is time for the annual Fireman's Ball in Ridgecrest!

I know lots of hard work went into the planning of this event, and I hope that I helped make those guys look good!  I have spent a couple of weeks tailoring those pants and jackets, so I hope someone will send me a picture!  Have a great time, guys!  You deserve it!
