About Lincoln, MO
Lincoln is located in Benton County in west central Missouri. It has been described as "The Front Door to the Twin Lakes Area of Lake Ozarks and Truman Lake. It is located on U.S. Hwy 65, just south of I-70. It is known for the largest fish hatchery in the state of Missouri. In the spring they have a contest for the biggest Spoonbill fish that can weigh 80+pounds. These fish are prehistoric looking fish that are only found in China. They also fish for Bass, Crappie, Blue Gill and Walleye. Around September they have a huge Rock and Gem show. Lincoln is known for its' pleasant weather year around and their friendly people. Among the biggest companies in Lincoln are Newman's Country Mart and The Bunkhouse Lodge.
