I had the worst service with this company. I was disgusted by how long it took to get someone out to check my unit. The owner himself came out to replace parts and did a shotty job. I couldn't believe that the owner would do such terrible work. I was overcharged. I spent five hundred dollars for parts to be replaced. My unit still isn't working the way it should. My A/C was blowing warm air, it was the end of the day, I called to get an estimate for low freon b/c that's what I thought it was. The guys were getting ready to go home for the day, went out of their way to come by my house and made it to my home in less than a half an hour from making the call, (I had a sick toddler at home), had the a/c going cool in about 20 mins. A part had gone bad in the unit and they had the replacement part in the company vehicle even for my very old unit. No problems since and at a cost a single mom (me) could afford. Friday May 13th wasn't my lucky day. The AC on my second floor went out. I called Awtrey HVAC for help. Previously Shane had replaced a furnace (2 years ago) and AC unit (last year for the first floor. Shane was at my house in about two hours. He got the unit running again. The service call was $241, which I was glad to pay. But within two hours the unit failed again. I called Shane and I talked about replacement. I agreed to his bid and on Monday, May 15 he was out at my house and started the job. He and his crew took a full day installing the unit. When the job was done, and while I was writing the check Shane gave me back my check from Friday. That was totally unexpected, but fully appreciated. I like the way Shane and his young crew go about business. Above all they are always polite. They are a credit to their generation.
