About Ellington, MO
Ellington is a city in Reynolds County, in the southern Ozarks of Missouri. The Doe Run Company is a key employer, and major industries in the area include timber, agriculture, machine manufacturing, and mining. Students attend the Ellington school system. Scenic byway 21 leads to the town. Attractions are the Reynolds County Museum, the Current and Black Rivers, and Clearwater Lake. A seasonal festival is Spring Fever Days. Former North Carolina resident, Thomas Barnes, founded the town.
