Many years ago, we trucked between MN & OK. This area was always our favorite stop off. The Toot Toot has a great "Just Common Folks" atmosphere about it, we just love it. It was one of the major factors when we made our decision to move here. Like TX, the farmers are east of I-35 and the ranchers are on the west and the Toot Toot restaurant was a common ground for all the local folks and travelers alike. From the coffe drinkers to the hard working fence menders to the dusty men/women out culivating, the Toot Toot restraurant is a common household name around these parts. Come join our friendly folks and some good cooking. There is only one thing they desire...truck parking, but knowing these folks, if you just give them a call, they'll send someone out to get you. Every time we drive between Dallas, Texas, and northern Iowa, a trip of 800 miles, we make sure to stop in Bethany at the Toot Toot. For the last 25 years when we've eaten there, it's been providing a huge array of well-prepared and served food, with plenty to please any mood and taste.
