Deep-set stains were removed from the carpet in two rooms that I was unable to remove myself. With spring right around the corner I thought that washing walls would be an excellent topic to right about. Once you have decided where to begin first remove everything from the walls you plan on washing and pull furniture away from the walls and lay plastic sheeting on the floor to protect floors and carpet. Wash walls by dipping a sponge or cloth in warm dishwater solution. I personally prefer using a cloth. Because dirty streaks that dribble down are much easier to wipe off a clean surface then a dirty one, start from the bottom up. I find that it works better to clean a section of about a square yard at a time, overlapping sections slightly as you work. It 's best not to stop washing until you have done the entire wall. That way you avoid leaving hard to remove water marks. If the walls are very try using a heavy duty all purpose cleaner. Be careful because a strong cleanser may cause the painted surface to streak or fade.
