Intentions seem good, but the urine smell has to go.

It's nice to foster animals, but there is a whole zoo loose in the office, and the workers don't clean up after these animals when they urinate on the wood floors, even if you politely point out a dog urinating on the floor; hence the smell. Knowing they have dogs for adoption, I went in and was only shown 1 dog, which the brought out to me while others were kept hidden. Poor thing had not been bathed and still had obvious parasites. And that's the dog they WOULD show me. The adoption fee was $250, which seemed high for a still parasite-infested dog. Pros: Great location Cons: Dirty

Be wary of their day care service...

I can't speak about their hospital services, but about their day care, avoid it if you can, especially if your pet has special needs. For example, our pet has food allergies, and we took our pet to Mitchell Mill for them to day care. Along with our pet, we dropped off the special food she requires separated into strict portions for each meal. Not only did the caregivers skip two meals, but from her stool we noticed our pet was fed or allowed to eat other food and/or treats. We are almost certain these foods caused our pet to suffer allergic reactions for 3 weeks immediately afterwards. Needless to say, we're disappointed the caregivers at Mitchell Mill neglected to follow our explicit directions, even after we discussed them three times - over e-mail, in person, and in a written note we included with our pet and her food. Hopefully, it was all an accident, but I hope they pay more attention to their customers' needs. If not, they could cause more harm to our beloved pets.

AVOID THIS PLACE

They falsify paperwork on the animals they have up for adoptions. They refuse to return phone calls and emails if you have a problem. How can a so-called experience vet not know the difference between a nuetered dog and a non-nuetered dog? The animals have worms and fleas probably from the cats and dog running loos in the building-- how sanitary is that?
