Goat finds home!
Well pet lovers, after I wrote my first blog the little goat ventured out to another neighbors pasture jumped the fence and joined the other goats! What a relief that was. No more seeing the little girl all by herself anymore. She has joined right into what I wa... Read More
One goat alone
Recently my business partner's neighbor who had several goats decided to find them anoher home since they didn't have the time anymore to give to the goats and a couple of them were venturing outside the camp.
Someone drove up and loaded all the goats but one female that was determined she wasn't going anywhere. After several futile attemps they gave up and drove off leaving the goat alone.
For several days she must have mourned the leaving of her family. She stayed to herself and would not venture out as was her normal routine. Well it just so happens that my business partner Debbie and her son JP have 5 goats of their own, 2 of which they just acquired last weekend. The goat across the street not wanting to be alone anymore, jumped the fence and walked across the road and attempted to jump in with the other family. Unfortunately she didn't make it in. She went back home, but I'm sure she will try again.
I've never thought of goats having feelings, but I guess nature has instilled in her the need to be with other llike creatures or family. Eventually she will try again and hopefully she will make the jump. Animals, like humans need to feel security and love too in their own animal way. I'm hoping to see her in the fence anyday now so she won't be alone anymore.
Maybe I'm just a sap, but I love animals and hate to see them suffer in any way. They are like children in the sense that they are dependent upon others to take care of them. We should all do our best to watch out for our pets and the pets of others too. Guess that's one reason I decided to be a pet sitter. I just love them all!

Great Service!
This is a great service and a great alternative to a kennel. Very professional and always available, I've had a great experience using Miss Rita and Co!
Peace of Mind!
We had tried other options, but this is by far the BEST! They are trustworthy, professional, caring....I just can't say enough about how good it is to know our pets are well-cared for in their own home! The cost is not much more than a night at a kennel or vet and so ...much better for your pets! They get attention they won't get elsewhere so you don't have to feel guilty when you go away for an overnight or a week.
