Lillian Santiago Caballero is a highly regarded flutist in the concert world today. She is Asst. Principal Flutist with Miami Symphony Orchestra, Associate Professor of Flute at New World School of the Arts, University of Florida (UF) and Miami Dade College. She has appears throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean as a soloist, chamber artist and teacher. She is the director of Vivace Flute Ensemble and of Celebration Musicians. Mrs. Caballero was invited by Maestro Ochoa to perform in Carnegie Hall with the Miami Symphony Orchestra in 1999. She has performed as principal flutist in the Festival di Roma Orchestra in Rome, Italy and La Orquesta Sinfonica Merida in Mexico, Pro-Arte Grateli, Boca Pops, Sunshine Pops, Florida Grand Opera, West Coast Opera, and Key West Music Festival. She is a frequent Clinician and Performer at the Florida Flute Association State Convention, has published performance guides for flutists under Music Anthology, and has recorded under the 3 CDs under the Canes Record Label and 1 with Cacao Record Label. Lillian Santiago Caballero M.M. teaches flute in her private flute studio. She specializes in preparing students for college auditions, magnet school auditions, solo flute performances, All-State auditions, and FBA solo and ensemble competitions.
