DO NOT GO TO LE SALON!!!! They are horrible! They will treat you like a princess during the shopping process but as soon as you purchase your dress they will not pay any attention to you. I was told that I would get a swatch and sketch of my dress in February, I did not get it until May (I had to pick it up) and every time I called (which was three times) they said “Oh it’s in the mail.” My dress came in a month late and when I went to pick it up, it was missing the flower detail on the side of the dress. I had to come back and pick it up the very next day because they said they would charge me a $50 storage fee. Every time I had an appointment, I waited 20 minutes for them to get me in and then they cut my appointment short because they were running behind! Are you kidding me! The manager was so rude to my bridal party and treated them like garbage. To top it all off, when I went to pick up my dress after the bustle was complete, the bottom of the dress was filthy!! ...read more

Five bra tips that lead to drama free dress shopping!
Five bra tips that lead to drama free dress shopping First, get properly bra fitted. Before shopping forthe dress, regardless of what size you believe yourself to be, find get fitted by a reputable bra fitter. To determined an experienced bra fitter be sure that they use a measuring tape and know how to translate sizes among the 3 popular sizing methods (, European&US;). A reputable bra fitting shop will carry and fit up to an I cup at minimum. Choose a fitter that has been fitting for 1-2 years or longer. Know what you like.First be fitting for a great everyday bra to take with you. When you look your best it makes trying on dresses easier. Next have an idea of what dress styles you are interested in. (take along pictures) Ask your bra fitter to bring you bra styles that correspond with your chosen dress styles i.e.: low back, backless, plunge or strapless. After this bra fitting you will know what bra styles are right for your bra size and that will help you determine what style dresses are right for you as well. Know your comfort level and go dress shopping prepared. When trying on special occasion bra styles be sure that you are personally comfortable and confident with the coverage and support of the strapless or low back styles. Once the dress is paid for and ordered it's too late to be unhappy about less support or shy and uncomfortable about too much or lack of cleavage. If you and your fitter determine strapless is for you, try on as many strapless bras as possible. When you find one that gives the lift, support and shape you like take a pen and mark your back at the top of where the bra comes, then go and try on strapless dresses and check to see that the back of the dress comes to or above that mark. Only dress shop in a great fitting bra!Now that you have your great fitting bra on and know what dress styles will work with your bra size, shopping easier and drama free. Knowing what dress styles are best for you will help your dress salesperson at the wedding gown shop. If you are full busted and or full figured, you have already consulted an expert stick to the styles discussed with your fitter and do not be swayed by a dress or a salesperson! Owner Rebecca Aughton exclaims that "As a bra fitter 98% of women not only wear the wrong size but have never been professionally fitted and have no idea as to what their real bra size is! As a bra buyer it is a fact that there are size limitations to backless, strapless and other special occasion bras. If brides followed the 5 tips above there would be less frustration and tears when it comes time for the dress fitting and alterations." Everyday I see brides come in to be fitted for their wedding gown undergarments only to find out frustrated they were a bra size that low back or strapless plunge is not an option. Now the backless/strapless dress is in and they two weeks before their first fitting and they have to find someway to make it work. Usually good support is sacrificed and then the dress bodice may not look as they envisioned. Now the drama begins! It is such a shame to see these girls so frustrated. If they had come to us first we could have eliminated this frustration! Say Aughton who has been in the industry over 15 years. Note: Having a proper bra fitting prior to shopping for an outfit is the best thing you can do for yourself! At Bra~vo intimates our goal is to fit you properly and educate you on what dress styles will work best for you based on your bra size. We help you look better in everything you wear! ...read more
