About Melvindale, MI
Melvindale is a part of the Downriver area of metro-Detroit in Michigan, a residential and industrial town, known as the “Little City with a Big Heart.” Major attractions include nearby Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Each year in the summer season there is an arts and crafts program held in the park. The largest employers in the area include Ford Auto Company and Frito Lay. The biggest schools here are Melvindale High School and Allendale Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Melvindale is the Melvindale Public Library.
