after this past Christmas, I took my wife to Bella Furs. After a very busy season I wanted to do something special for her. I wanted to buy her a fur coat. I knew it would be an expensive gift, however they were having a sale. After the first 10 minutes of "customer appreciation" , it turned to high pressure, pushy, tag team sales pitches. We should have left then, but I was determined to not show my irritation and wanted my wife to be happy. \t\nWe did find a beautiful coat, the sale price was $1,700.00 after 50% off. I very clearly asked our salesperson "if this was there best price" . Her quick snap back was " Of Coarse! " and "this was there lowest possible price". I purchased the coat.\t\nHowever, 5 days later I received a phone call inviting me to there "Special SALE" where all new coats were now 60% off plus an extra 20%! I called to speak with our salesperson to discuss the situation, The difference was $ 648.00 off my supposed best price. I was told the difference couldnt be put back on my card, but they would send a check for the amount. That was Jan. 3rd, I waited a week and still no check, when I called again, I got the " checks in the mail speech" after another week I called yet again, Then I was told they refunded my Credit card, I called the CC company, and no such return on my acct. Awesome selection! Really nice staff. I truly felt heard when telling them what I wanted and needed. I will definitely be sending all of my friends. Make sure to wear undergarments as they help you into the gowns. When I asked about this and they told me it protects the gowns I completely understood after recalling the condition of the dresses in some of the other stores. After we got going it was great to have someone else doing all of the work for me. I really felt like a princess. I found the prices comparable to other stores I had been to. I give one star for the service received prior to purchasing my gown. I had paid for the gown in Dec. of 2008 and picked up the gown in June 2009. There was plenty of time to make sure all parts of the gown were there. I picked up my gown, went to the tailor and the tailor's brought to my attention that I did not have my panel for the dress. We then realized that there were stains on the bottom of the dress as well as the inside of the dress. The bag of extra beading for the dress was also empty. I went back to the store to fix the problems as I was told to come back in to make the situation right. The owner then cleaned up the spots of the dress and left the dress in middle of cleaning the spots to help out other customers. I then waited over 30 minutes for the owner to tell me that she didn not have a panel and would have to make one, but if I would've had an appt. I would've had my panel.
