I just attended the Reba, George & LeAnn concert at the palace and it was the greatest. With the 360 stage, not a bad seat in the house. The accoustics were wonderful and the music sounded great! The big screens helped the people sitting ba... ...read more

Please be aware that this store has a terrible return policy. That is you can't return anything. Whether you purchased an item for yourself or as a gift for someone else. NO RETURNS. This is what they think of their customers. ...read more

I was in a great mood as I was strolling through the halls of great lakes crossing because I had just passed the pleasant aromas of auntie annes pretzels, when I unfortunately stumbled upon the quite literal stench of the hook up. they not only sell authentic jerseys, but as well as authentic locker room stench. I was browsing the aisles for a sidney crosby jersey when one of the employees gave me a swift hip check into the boards. Bottom Line: I would recommend this place to friends and family. ...read more

Two weeks now and no response from the owner. Very rude. Probably hoping we just go away. From the looks of past reviews I am not the only person who has experienced return issues and customer service issues with this business. The fact that they would not exchange the item does not even bother us as much as the completely arrogant and rude behavior of the manager. (Still curious about what "story" he gave the owner)Making money is obviously the most important thing to this store. Once you buy it, expect it is yours defects and all. No returns, no exchanges. Don't buy anything unless you are willing to "eat" the cost if something is wrong with it, because defects are "not their problem". Enough said... ...read more

HORRIBLE customer service and management. We took our 6 year old son to return a collectible gift that was defective and were treated horribly. They would not take it back depite having a receipt and PROVING that the product was defective. The manager stated "it is not my problem", "I don't get any money for it if I take it back", and "lots of other people bought this and theirs is not defective". (Doesn't change the fact that ours WAS defective!) Very arrogant attitude from the start. Did not offer any help, not even a contact to the manufacturer. Just told us he was sick of listening to us complain and asked us to leave the store. When we called back to speak with the owner he also had an attitude (not sure what story the manager gave him). The owner said he would call us back and we are STILL waiting over a week later to hear from him. They say they don't have to take back defective items. I will post follow up if we resolve the issue. ...read more

I've shopped with Hook Up numerous times. Bought a Red Wings jersey and a DVD set, among other collectibles. Have NEVER had a problem with merchandise (of course, I take CARE of it, too). Have had numerous conversations with the owner, and I can assure you, being a small business owner, the LAST thing he wants is to send a customer out the door unhappy. My recommendation to anyone reading these is to go see for yourself. Check out the merchandise CAREFULLY before you buy (remember, the reason the price is so high is because you're paying FOR THE TEAM NAME, NOT because he's making 200% profit), and READ THE REFUND POLICY before you complete your purchase. Use common sense and you likely will have an excellent experience! ...read more

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE SHOPPING (I should say TRYING to shop) here. When at the counter the owner and some workers were fighting with a customer of a shirt they were trying to return because it was defective. They wouldnt exchange it for them even though it was within two weeks and they had their reciept. they made it uncomfortable as it was, then they preceeded to tell at US to get out and ripped the merchandise I was going to purchase (over 100$ worth) and told us to get out and they didnt care that he was losing our business. He then shoved my mom out the door as the security guards arrived. UNREAL. The owners of this store are literally insane, and I hope they go out of business. DONT support their attempt at running a company. ...read more
