Although this is a business that depends on horses to teach students, Woodland Horse Center treats their horses and the horses of the boarders in a caring and friendly manner that results in horses whose heads are happily poking out of their stalls in hope of a carrot or apple treat and engage the humans around them. As for their human counterparts, they are genuinely people who I am happy to spend time with because we all have one thing in common: LOVE OF HORSES. The children who come to the barn to help and work, learn a lot about horses and build their confidence and friendships when working with others. The teachers are wonderful and each has a different way of teaching the main theme: BALANCED RIDING. The environment may not look sleek and new but the place itself is filled with joy and peace of mind and no new building can guarantee that! ...read more

If you are looking for rare items, value, quality, you need to visit the Consign It Shop. I have been going to this shop for the last 5 years and I always find great clothes to wear for work for bargains! Also, I have bought much of the furniture that I currently own, great pieces that I would not have been able to afford anywhere else. The employees are also great, friendly and warm.\t\n\t\nI recommend going on Sunday which is the day that Gina (one of the employees) works, she is a very nice person and terrific to talk to, not to mention she has a great sense of style.
