The Parthenon Restaurant was born about 4 months after I was born in 1989, so it's had enough time to earn a good reputation with the locals. In fact, the regular customers call it one of the hidden gems of Annapolis. Between the french-cut lamb chops and the famous gyros, what more could you ask for? And for pescatarians like myself, there is the delicious tilapia (and other seasonal fish), stuffed green pepper, and eggplant--not to mention pita and tzatziki! Next time you visit, here's a tip from someone who has been part of the Parthenon family for about 4 years now: Ask the server how to log onto the free Wi-Fi and then (if you are there in the evening) ask for a margarita (the evening bartender makes the BEST margaritas!). Annapolis is a great setting for a restaurant. We chose Stony River because I had been to the one in Towson and enjoyed the experience. We were not dissapointed - the food and service were great. The cost is at the upper level but worth it Enjoy! ...read more
