To Whom It May Concern:
I am issuing a warning to everyone about the importance of checking the Internet for information about your company and its reputation. Our company, Marshall’s Locksmith Service, has had the unfortunate experience of being the target of a group of unscrupulous people who have begun to use our good name and character to represent their unethical company.
Luckily, we had a disgruntled customer call and inform us that he had tried to call us for service when 2 men, not in uniform, showed up in an unmarked car to do their work. These unprincipled people attempted to change his locks before our customer realized he had been duped. He immediately asked them to leave his premises and called to inform us of what was happening. Had our customer not recognized that these were not our technicians or if he had failed to call us, we would not have been aware that someone was misrepresenting our company. Our customer told us that he had done a simple search for our name on the internet and that he called the number that was provided on the website, to his dismay he was not reaching Marshall’s Locksmith Service.
The company he reached, without our permission, was using our name and a similar address on their website. When consumers thought they were calling Marshall’s Locksmith Service they were getting these impersonators who have neither business license nor locksmith license with the state of North Carolina.
These imposters have completely taken over Marshall’s Locksmith Service’s identity on Google. These unprincipled phonies are going into unsuspecting people’s homes and businesses every day and taking advantage of their trust. I have appeal to the authorities to stop this ring of criminals, immediately. I have made numerous phone calls and complaints but this seems to be a relatively new crime and unfortunately there does not seem to be a clear action plan for resolution. I would appreciate any recommendation or assistance you have to put an end to these corrupt business practices before irreparable harm is done.

Hi, I am a long time satisfied Marshall’s customer and was surprised when I called what I thought was their office for service and had someone show up in shorts and his car. He was not from Marshall’s at all. Ask for credentials. If your technician does not show ...up in a Marshall’s truck and does not have his locksmith license he probably isn’t from Marshall’s. If you want the best locksmiths in town MAKE SURE they are from Marshalls and CAN PROVE I|T
