Posted on Giant Eagle Corporate Website: I would like to bring your attention to a matter of grave importance. Your choice of advertising on WMMS Radio in Cleveland OH should be re-evaluated. The station most recently re-broadcasted a former program making derogatory remarks about people with developmental disabilities, and specifically mentioned those hired to work in grocery stores. I think it would behoove you to check into this. They called them "retards"... made them "uncomfortable"...this station are "shock jocks"; however, I would think twice about being associated with them. The station denies it but I can give you names of people who heard the broadcast and can verify exactly what they heard. The Cleveland Plain Dealer may be doing an interview and also running an ad specific to this recent broadcast. My phone # 330-699-2198 for more info.
