I got to thinking......
One night i was sitting at my desk working and I got to thinking. I always wanted to open up my own gift store, but not just a regular gift store, one with items that were unique, quality made and fun. I didn't know where the money would come from to do this, but i was determined.So i came across an opportunity to become an afilliate of a company (at the time, i didn't know what that meant). I saw the products and i liked them, i read a little about the company and it checked out. So i decided to go for it. I was excited and happy and looked forward to work on it everyday. After about 6 weeks, i realized that i could do this for myself. I am intelligent enough, i know the computer well enough, i am internet saavy, creative, etc...so i decided to go to the wholesalers myself and check into what it would take to really try this myself.In speaking to many people, i grew more and more excited about this new project in my life. I thought about what the name would be, what i would want to sell, how to go about doing it. I knew i couldn't open up a brick and morter right away, so i decided on an ecommerce site.Now that brings you to the here and now! I want to introduce everyone my new onlie retail business: Butterfly Kisses Gifts, Etc. I know a long name, but i decided to put the etc, in there just in case i decide to add products that aren't really in the gift category....i figure i would keep it open ended. So i am currently finding more and more companies. Right now i have a gift basket line, and a baby gift line uploaded....i am now going to upload a candle line, bakery line and possibly a toy line (for the Holiday's).So i am starting my adventure and feel happy. I haven't felt truly happy in a while. Something was missing. I have my beautiful family and love them with all of my heart, but i knew i could accomplish more. I am determined to succeed, for myself, and for my family. I will have something to pass onto my beautiful children. The summary is: Don't wish for things to happen~Make them happen! ...read more
